History
ACC Telecom was established in 1987, after branching out from Harbor City Corporation (HCC), a business machine and supply company founded in 1979 by Barry Hunt, with excellence in sales and service for 10 years.
Becoming increasingly aware of the growing communications needs in the 1980’s, Mr. Hunt established ACC Telecom, headquartered in Frederick, Maryland. ACC Telecom quickly began to grow and in 1991 ACC Telecom relocated its headquarters’ to Ellicott City, Maryland.
ACC Telecom’s fast-growing client base created the need for a more centralized location. In order to better serve the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. corridor, Mr. Hunt selected Columbia, Maryland. This centralized location allows us to efficiently handle the needs of our customers in both locations.
